Australian Games at Sea
Your average cruising holidays mean getting to explore new places, spending time with loved ones and making new friends, relaxing, plenty of good food, no housework, evening entertainment, and… Not necessarily a lot to do during the day. This is not a new phenomenon, and a number of different and fabulous events have started in the last few years taking advantage of the obvious solution.
TableTop Game Cruise aims to be that solution for board game and TTRPG fans in Australia. Run by Lisa Presley, each TT Game Cruise will depart from an alternating AU port, running from 4 to 14 days depending on destination, and what the fans are demanding. The first will run in 2027, and is hoped to continue annually from there.

A Short History
The Board Game Cruise Club and Board Game Cruise Australia were setup by Teena of Behold Games in Ultimo to bring like minded board game geeks together on a fun cruise holiday accessible to Australians. Board Game Cruises were run in 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024 to destinations in the Pacific Islands, New Zealand, and along the coast of Australia.
In 2025, Lisa has begun the task of setting up a spiritual successor to Board Game Cruise Australia. The 2027 TableTop Game Cruise will facilitate all types of games that can successfully be played at a table – Board games, Card games, Role playing games, storytelling games, and everything in between.
